LUKOIL Educational Cluster was established at Gubkin University

On 28 September 2022, a special ceremony was held at Gubkin University to open a unified educational space of PJSC LUKOIL, including the Training and Research Site “Oil and Gas Collection, Measurement and Treatment Technologies”, the Site for Oilfield Equipment, the Field Development Control Center named after V.I. Greifer and LUKOIL Educational Cluster.

To train specialists in disciplines demanded by the fuel and energy sector, Gubkin University offers programs at three specialized departments that operate within LUKOIL Group subsidiaries.

The Specialized Department of Innovation Management (at the premises of LUKOIL-Engineering) was established in 2011 at the Faculty of International Energy Business and offers Master's programs in Management (code number 38.04.02).

The Specialized Department of Modeling of Physical and Technological Field Development Process (at the premises of LUKOIL-Engineering) was established in 2013 at the Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development and offers Master's programs in Petroleum Engineering (code number 21.04.01), including Master's program in Modeling Physics and Technology Processes Field Development (code number 21.04.01.44).

The Specialized Department of Renewable Energy Sources (at the premises of LUKOIL-Engineering) was established in 2017 at the Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems and offers Master's programs in Petroleum Engineering (code number 21.04.01), including Master's program in Renewable Energy Sources (code number 21.04.01.57).
