Oil and Gas – 2024
On 22 – 26 April 2024, Gubkin University with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation will host the International Forum: Oil and Gas – 2024. The event will be held in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 17 September 2018.
Applications are to be received up to 18 February 2024. IInterested students and young professionals are invited to participate.
The Forum is aimed to strengthen collaboration between the academic and business communities in research and development, implementation of the results of research activities, as well as to engage young people in research and support the most talented and active among them.
At the Forum, participants are offered to discuss a wide range of issues related to exploration and development of oil and gas fields, transportation, storage and processing of oil and gas, petrochemistry, equipment, automation and digital transformation of production processes, economics, industrial, environmental and information safety at fuel and energy companies, personnel training, etc.
Annually the Forum brings together more than 1,000 specialists, young scientists and students from Russian and foreign universities, industry organizations and government agencies.
Within the Forum, the following events will be held:
- 78th International Youth Scientific Conference "Oil and Gas – 2024"
- 17th All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference “Relevant Issues in the Development of the Oil and Gas Complex of Russia"
- 8th All-Russian competition for the best Student Scientific Society in the oil and gas industry in Russia
- 3d International Oil and Gas Hackathon Championship “Digital Oil”
- Trainings, thematic panel sessions, meetings, etc.
