12th Conference of young researchers and specialists of the LUKOIL group was held at Gubkin University
On May 30, 2018 Gubkin University hosted the 12th Conference of young researchers and specialists of the LUKOIL group.
The program of the event included a set of round tables in such subject areas as:
- oil and gas exploration and production,
- oil refining, petrochemistry and gas processing,
- oil products supply, and
- energy production.
The heads of LUKOIL structural subdivisions became participants of the Conference. At the round tables participants discussed the main topics for oil and gas industry development, LUKOIL’s prospective projects, reduction of production costs, personnel-related issues and many others.
Within the Conference, the Vice President for Strategic Development of LUKOIL Leonid Fedun met with participants to hold a discussion on the topic “The Story of Success”. During the meeting the issues of digitalization and automation of the oil and gas industry, company’s efficiency improvement, implementation of LUKOIL strategic projects in Russia and abroad, risks in making a career for managing personnel were covered.
As part of the case contest “Innovations of the Future”, the teams of young employees of the LUKOIL group presented their cases prepared in advance. The jury was headed by the Chairman of LUKOIL Board of Directors Valery Grayfer, who noted the relevance and high degree of thoroughness of the submitted projects, and wished young researchers and specialists to remain active in all spheres of their activity. Based on projects evaluation, the winning team was awarded.
