Gubkin University delivered professional leadership training for Zarubezhneft employees

On 1 November 2019, the graduation event for students of the professional development program “A Modern Leader in the International Environment" (NESTRO LEAD) offered by the International School of Business was held at Gubkin University. Zarubezhneft employees became participants of the program.

On the final day of training, students attended a master class delivered by Alexander Dynkin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, Professor, President of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMEMO RAS), who spoke about the transformations of the world order. The students were also greeted by Sergey Kudryashov, General Director of Zarubezhneft and Elena Telegina, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Director of the International School of Business at Gubkin University.

In his message, Sergey Kudryashov emphasized the long-term cooperation of Zarubezhneft with the International School of Business of Gubkin University, and positive contribution of Gubkin University to career development of the company’s personnel. He noted the importance of professional training and retraining in the oil and gas industry in general, as well as the importance of investment in knowledge as the most liquid investment today.

Elena Telegina evaluated the progress of students in solving the trend problems of the industry and handed in diplomas of professional retraining, which legitimize to be engaged in a new type of professional activity in international management.
