The Open Day was hosted by Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter

On October 11, 2017 Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter hosted the Open Day.

The event was opened by a welcome speech from the Head of the Protocol Department at Gubkin University Valentina Demina, who greeted the participants interested to join Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter. The Coordinator of non-commercial projects at SPE Moscow Office Yaroslava Orlova told about the benefits of the membership in the international society of oil and gas industry engineers.

Afterwards, the heads of the committees of Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter made an overview of the projects currently implemented by the Chapter as well as introduced the work plans for the upcoming future. Special attention was paid to such global events as the Forum “New Generation: Across the Universe” and the International Youth Scientific and Practical Congress "Oil and Gas Horizons”.

The Open Day was attended by nearly 70 students interested to be engaged in international youth cooperation.
