The Open Day was held at Gubkin University

On 26 March 2023, the Open Day was held at Gubkin University. More than 2,000 prospective students willing to become part of Gubkin University team participated in the event.

The Open Days are a traditional event held every semester, which helps the prospective students to get better understanding of the academic training offered by Gubkin University in the oil and gas field, future employment opportunities, application requirements and student's life.

The event began with a video presentation about Gubkin University made by Gubkin University TV (Gutv). Afterwards, Professor Viktor Martynov, Rector of Gubkin University, delivered a lecture about the prospects of the future profession, the use of oil and gas, and the features of energy production and consumption worldwide. The program of the event also included a concert organized with the participation of creative student teams.

Mr. Viktor Telkov, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, outlined the rules and requirements for admission to the University in 2023. Rector Viktor Martynov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vladimir Koshelev and Executive Secretary Viktor Telkov answered the questions raised by the prospective students.

The event was followed by the faculty meetings with the participation of deans, faculty members and students. During these meetings, the prospective students received the opportunity to get more information about the faculties, academic programs, admission requirements and the academic process, as well as explore the learning environment of Gubkin University, including its classrooms, laboratories, simulators and technical equipment available at various faculties.
