The offsite studies "Nauchye 4.0" were held for Gubkin University activists

From 28 January to 1 February 2023, the fourth offsite studies "Nauchye 4.0" were held for Gubkin University activists representing the Student Scientific Society and the Council of Gubkin University Students. The studies were organized at Gubkinets Health and Sports Base.

Traditionally, the offsite studies brought together about 100 activists and 15 young scientists and curators of faculty departments of the Student Scientific Society, as well as the representatives of Gubkin University administration.

The program of the educational section included lectures on various topics related to research and provided the participants with some practical tips on how to choose a supervisor and finish a scientific work, how to write abstracts and scientific publications, how to participate in a scientific conference, what impact sanctions have on publication activities in journals from international databases, scientific ethics, etc.

In addition to the scientific and educational activities, the program included an engineering game, a quest, an anti-scientific conference, a business game, various sports events and competitions, in which the members of the Council of Gubkin University Students took part as co-organizers and experts. Based on results, the team “Faculty for the Development and Operation of Memes” became the winner.

During the offsite studies, the participants also prepared projects for the development of the Student Scientific Society, the best of which will be implemented as part of the activities of the Student Scientific Society.
