The Friendship Festival was held at Gubkin University

On 10 November 2023, the Friendship Festival was held at Gubkin University. The event was organized within the Week of National Cultures dedicated to the National Unity Day.

The Friendship Festival is an event initiated by the International Friendship Club as part of the program aimed at promoting the activities of student associations in order to unite students.

Within the festival, the ethnographic exhibition of the peoples of the world was organized to promote various national cultures, present folk costumes and national cuisines.

The festival brought together students from Russia and foreign countries. The representatives of the Russian Federation, including Tatarstan, Yakutia, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Alania, as well as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the countries of the Balkans, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Cuba and African countries, demonstrated their cultural traditions.

The festival was finished with a concert, which complemented the diverse picture of cultures represented.
