The competition has been held for the eighth year in a row for University faculty members under the age of 35 who do not receive grants from oil and gas companies.
This year, a record number of applications was filed – 53, of which every second participated for the first time. It confirms the need of young faculty members to be supported by the Foundation of Gubkin University Alumni.
To participate in the competition, applicants needed to submit their applications to the Grant Council of the Foundation, brief information about their current academic, methodical and research work, prospects for professional growth, as well as a one-year work program.
“The higher the quality of graduate training, the more productive their work in the company and career development will be. Therefore, the versatile support of young faculty members is so important. I would like to thank the Foundation of Gubkin University Alumni for the work it does for the University and in particular for the support of young faculty members. I wish young faculty members fulfillment of their plans. We expect that the commitments you have made will be abided, and all this will positively affect the quality of training of the University students,” – said Albert Vladimirov.
