The Faculty of Integrated Security of the Fuel and Energy Complex celebrates its foundation day

On 13 February 2020, a special event “The Formula of Security” dedicated to the foundation of the Faculty of Integrated Security of the Fuel and Energy Complex was held at Gubkin University.

The event was opened by the Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov and the Dean of the Faculty of Integrated Security of the Fuel and Energy Complex Sergey Grinyaev.

In his welcoming speech, Viktor Martynov noted the importance of the Faculty in training highly qualified specialists to ensure security of the oil and gas industry and state defense as well as wished the Faculty to develop successfully, and future graduates to grow professionally.

Sergey Grinyaev also emphasized the importance of reliable protection of enterprises and facilities in the oil and gas industry from various attacks. “The present-day developments define the mission of the Faculty, which is to develop and train new security specialists capable to identify and counter hybrid security threats” – said Sergey Grinyaev.

During the event, the participants were also greeted by the representatives from the government and business sector. The outstanding students of the Faculty received special awards.
