Miss University – Oil Queen 2020 was held at Gubkin University
On 12 March 2020, the traditional Miss University – Oil Queen contest was held at Gubkin University with the support of the Russian Drilling Company “Gazprom Bureniye”. In 2020, the title of Miss University – Oil Queen of Gubkin University was awarded to the student of the Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems Regina Kiseleva.
This year the contest was followed by 1,500 spectators in the Palace of Culture “Gubkinets”, including students and faculty members of Gubkin University, as well as the representatives of oil and gas companies and government authorities. Over 38,000 spectators watched the online broadcasting via internet.
The representatives of leading energy companies became the honorary members of the jury.
Based on the voting records, Regina Kiseleva, student of the Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems became Miss University – Oil Queen 2020.
The title of Vice Miss University was awarded to Sofia Rusidze, student of the of the Faculty of International Energy Business.
According to the results of the contest and the jury's evaluation, every participating lady became a winner in a certain category, including the following:
- Miss Inspiration – Milyausha Sufiyanova, representative of the Faculty оf Mechanical Engineering;
- Miss Originality – Victoria Tsukanova, representative of the Faculty Law;
- Miss Musical Talent – Faiza Badrieva, representative of the Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems;
- Miss Artistry – Sofia Rusidze, representative of the of the Faculty of International Energy Business;
- Miss Excellence – Daria Konstantinova, representative of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science;
- Miss Elegance – Regina Kiseleva, representative of the Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems;
- Miss Charm – Ekaterina Kashina, representative of the Faculty of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics;
- Miss Сreativity – Vasilisa Syryeva, representative of the Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering;
- Miss Grace – Sophia Plugina, representative of the Faculty of Economics and Management;
- Miss Fascination – Anastasia Terentyeva, representative of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science;
- Miss Grace – Ekaterina Samuilenko, representative of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development;
- Miss Style – Renata Faizova, epresentative of the Faculty of Integrated Security of the Fuel and Energy Complex.
Based on the voting records in social networks, the title of Miss Audience Choice was awarded to Milyausha Sufiyanova.
The contest is organized by Gubkin University since 1998. Annually, this event attracts students and faculty members who come to cheer for a representative of their faculty since the winner of the contest becomes the University’s image for the upcoming year and represents the University at various events.
