Miss University – Oil Queen 2019 was held at Gubkin University
On 5 March 2019, the 21th contest of Miss University – Oil Queen was held at Gubkin University. In 2019, the title of Miss University – Oil Queen of Gubkin University was awarded to the student of the Faculty of Law Valeria Bodryagina.
This year the contest was followed by 6,500 spectators, including students and faculty members of Gubkin University, as well as representatives of oil and gas companies and government authorities.
The University leadership and faculty, the representatives of leading oil and gas and service companies, government officials became the honorary members of the jury chaired by the Vice-Rector for Education of Gubkin University Marina Filatova.
Based on the voting records, Valeria Bodryagina, student of the Faculty Law, became Miss University – Oil Queen 2019 and received a special prize – the travel to Paris for two.
The title of Vice Miss University was awarded to Yana Kodentseva, student of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science.

Miss Сreativity – Elizaveta Grakhnicheva, representative of the Faculty Law;
Miss Fascination – Anastasia Evdokimova, representative of the Faculty of Economics and Management;
Miss Originality – Anastasia Lozinskaya, representative of the Faculty of International Energy Business;
Miss Romance – Polina Shilkova, representative of the Faculty of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics;
Miss Style – Regina Kiseleva, representative of the Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems;
Miss Musical Talent – Yana Kodentseva, representative of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science;
Miss Charm – Sophie Akhverdiyeva, representative of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development;
Miss Grace – Sofia Seliverstova, representative of the Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering;
Miss Artistry – Natalya Chistyakova, representative of the Faculty оf Mechanical Engineering;
Miss Elegancy – Valeria Bodryagina, representative of the Faculty Law;
Miss Inspiration – Anastasia Mitrofanova, representative of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science.
Based on the voting records in social networks (more than 4,000 people participated in voting), the title of Miss Audience Choice was awarded to Anastasia Mitrofanova.
The contest is organized by Gubkin University since 1998. Annually, this event attracts students and faculty members who come to cheer for a representative of their faculty since the winner of the contest becomes the University’s image for the upcoming year and represents the University at various events.
