Gubkin University members at the award ceremony of the V All-Russian public prize for personal contribution to the ethnocultural development and strengthening of the unity of the peoples of Russia "Pride of the Nation - 2024"
On October 29, 2024, on the eve of National Unity Day, the laureates of the V All-Russian public prize for personal contribution to the ethnocultural development and strengthening of the unity of the peoples of Russia "Pride of the Nation - 2024" were awarded in the building of the State Academic Maly Theater.
Traditionally, the prize is awarded in seven nominations: "For contribution to ensuring civil unity and interethnic harmony", "For contribution to the preservation and development of the culture of the peoples of Russia", "For best practices in the field of national relations", "For contribution to the preservation and development of native languages", "For contribution to information support of state national policy", "For effective leadership in national and cultural associations", "Generation Um". Over the five years of its existence, the project has awarded 104 laureates from different regions of Russia.
The 2023 laureates were a group of Gubkin University employees.
The 2024 awardees were representatives of all federal districts of the country; they arrived in Moscow from seventeen regions of Russia.
“People who know how to create not only values, but also mood and feelings have gathered here. This is so important in life! I want today's meeting, this boost of energy to encourage you, your talented abilities, to continue to convey as much kindness, beauty, and love as possible,” emphasized Vladimir Vasiliev, Chairman of the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia.
Magomedsalam Magomedov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, read out Vladimir Putin's greeting.
"This prestigious award, established in 2020 by the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia, is traditionally presented to active, talented, caring people whose responsible civic position, creative, constructive participation in the fate of the Fatherland deserve the sincerest recognition. Among the laureates of the award are representatives of different professions, ages and generations - Heroes of Russia and Heroes of Labor, participants in a special military operation, initiators of significant humanitarian, volunteering, charitable projects aimed at preserving the richest historical, spiritual heritage and ethnocultural diversity of the peoples of our country, strengthening interethnic peace and harmony," the head of state said in his greeting.
Foreign students of the creative group "I love you, Russia" were invited to participate in the award ceremony. The university students are participating in the program for the second time with a song. The program prepared by vocal and choral groups and children of the Kursk region ended with the performance of the Gubkin University students. The performance of the song by the students of the creative group "Do Russians Want War" was supported by all the guests and participants of the event.
