Gubkin representatives took part in the program "More than a trip"

From November 15 to 17 and from December 6 to 8, 2024, activists of Gubkin University took part in the program of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia "More than a trip" and visited the Murmansk region as part of two-round trips "Living in the North!".

As part of the first round, the university was represented by: Angelina Belyasova, Alexander Pavlov, Maxim Sumkin, Ekaterina Fomina, Stepan Chesnokov, Margarita Kiriya, Klim Kuznetsov, Nikita Makarov and Ilya Prokopchik.

In the second round, the representatives of Gubkin University were: Alexey Arkhipov, Kirill Kozyrev, Zalina Lagieva, Karim Mamleev, Alexandra Falileeva, Arina Konshina, Sofia Bulatova and Erik Khodzhayan.

The aforementioned students visited such significant places of the region as the Teriberka Nature Park, the nuclear icebreaker Lenin, the memorial to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic during the Great Patriotic War, the memorial to the Submariners who died in peacetime and Mount Gorelaya.

The goal of both trips was to develop an environmental project to improve and develop the region. At the end of the trip, Gubkin University students and students from other universities created and successfully defended their team projects.
