The 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Digital Technologies: Science, Education, Innovation” was held at Gubkin University

On 13 November 2019, Gubkin University hosted the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digital Technologies: Science, Education, Innovation" for the faculty members and young scientists.

The event was aimed at sharing the results of research conducted by the Russian scientific schools on the contemporary problems of the digital economy and information technology; attracting young people to work on urgent problems in these areas; analyzing new challenges in the economy, industry and society caused by the development of the digital economy; studying and generalizing the experience of practical implementation of these approaches and concepts; as well as supporting new information technologies as a tool for storage, access and use of information.

The conference brought together the representatives from the leading Russian universities, the expert community, as well as the leading Russian and foreign information and analytical companies.

Within the conference, Gubkin University hosted two sessions "Innovative technologies in oil and gas engineering" and "Management of innovative activities", organized by the Department of Oil and Gas and Subsurface Hydromechanics of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development.

Following the results of the conference, Gubkin University students were awarded the certificates in two categories – ‘the best project’ and ‘the best report’.

The conference was organized by Moscow State University of Technology "STANKIN" and held jointly by Gubkin University, Moscow State University and Moscow Polytechnic University.
