Gubkin University delegation participated in the Russian Energy Week

On 12-14 October 2022, Gubkin University delegation headed by Rector Viktor Martynov took part in the Russian Energy Week. Over 1,000 student activists and faculty members became participants of the Youth Day, which closed the Russian Energy Week in Moscow.

Within the Russian Energy Week, a panel session “Technological sovereignty: cooperation between science, business and the state” was organized by the Russian Energy Agency of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation as part of the activities of the scientific and educational consortium “Energy of the Future”. At the event, Professor Viktor Martynov, Rector of Gubkin University, delivered a presentation on the successful experience of Gubkin University in integrating business, science and education to achieve technological sovereignty.

Gubkin University faculty members contributed as speakers at the discussion "Education and business: ways of adapting to the transforming business environment and training highly qualified personnel for the industry", as moderators at the session of the Youth Global Energy Outlook and as experts at the international engineering championship "CASE-IN".

Gubkin University students participated actively in various interactive sessions, including the Climate Game and an interactive session of youth projects for the development of the fuel and energy complex.

The Youth Day ended with the traditional session “Energy of Youth Initiatives – 2023”, where the best youth projects were presented and the winners of the 2022 youth competition were awarded. At the session, the participants developed the agenda of youth events and initiatives for 2023.
