The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Management Board and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC Gazprom Alexey Miller, General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Sergey Gustov, Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov and others.
An international scientific and practical conference "Underground Gas Storage: Reliability and Efficiency" was also held, attended by Dean of the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics of Oil and Gas Olga Postnikova, Associate Professor of the Department of Development and Operation of Gas and Gas Condensate Fields Maria Khaidina, Associate Professor of the Department of Lithology Nadezhda Kulagina.
At the conference "Resources of Energy Leadership: Science, Technology, Personnel" the interaction of science and the oil and gas business was discussed. Gubkin University was represented by Professor of the Department of Thermodynamics and Thermal Engines Valery Bessel, Professor of the Department of Development and Operation of Oil Fields Nikolay Eremin, Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Processing Equipment Elena Fedorova and Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection Alexey Vikhrov.
The III Scientific and Practical Conference "Development of Oil and Gas Processing Industries and Promising Technologies for Processing Hydrocarbon Raw Materials" named after I.P. Afanasyev continued, moderated by Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Processing Equipment Elena Fedorova.
The day ended with a panel discussion "Gas and Petroleum Chemistry: New Horizons for the Development of Innovative Products and Materials, a New Technological Order", in which Deputy Head of the Department of Oil Refining Technology for Research, Professor Mikhail Ershov took part.
On the third day, a meeting of the Scientific and Educational Interuniversity Council of PJSC Gazprom was held. Rectors of the country's leading oil and gas universities, including Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov, took part in it. Following the meeting, a plan for joint activities of Gazprom Pererabotka LLC and higher education institutions for 2025-2027 was signed.
In addition, a plenary session on the topic "Gas Market 2024: Outlines of the New World Order" was held, where representatives of friendly countries were present, discussing global challenges and prospects for the development of the industry.
An exhibition was also held as part of the forum, where Gubkin University employees presented exhibits with relevant topics. The exposition was presented by the congress and exhibition activities department.
Associate Professor of the Department of Oil Field Development and Operation Alexey Dengayev presented five technologies developed jointly with the Department of Industrial Ecology:
1. Technology for obtaining and using bulk geocomposite materials.
2. Model of a mobile system for low-temperature stabilization of oil and gas in field conditions.
3. Model of a well pad equipped with a mobile complex for stabilizing oil and gas condensate.
4. Technology for cleaning up an area contaminated with stored oil products, which involves outlining and localizing oil pollution with environmental barriers to prevent further negative impact on the environment.
5. Technology for obtaining and using a soil modifier with fire extinguishing action.
Associate Professor of the Department of Automated Control Systems Valentina Samsonova and Assistant of the Department of Design and Operation of Gas and Oil Pipelines Vladislav Churin demonstrated the Vesta-simulator software on a computer simulator of oil and gas. It is designed to simulate the modes of gas collection and preparation systems for main gas transportation, the calculation scheme of which corresponds to the actual reflection of the connections of technological objects.
Leading engineer of the development program support department Vladislav Pronin, technician of the development program support department Timofey Vikulov and analysts of the development program support department Alexey Kolosov, German Tyumkaya and Sofia Telichko presented the results of the project activities of the Center for Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality:
