Gubkin University at the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists AIPPA 2024
From October 10 to 11, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists AIPPA 2024 "Artificial Intelligence - Possibilities of Practical Application" was held in Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan) at the Caspian Public University.
The conference was devoted to the pressing issue of using artificial intelligence in various areas of human activity. Participation in the conference provided a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of artificial intelligence and discuss its application in various fields, such as medicine, biotechnology, economics and finance, education, manufacturing and many others.
Leading scientific experts and practitioners working in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as representatives of business and government organizations were invited as the speakers at the conference.
Employees of Gubkin University also took part in the conference program.
Associate Professor of the Department of Welding and Monitoring of Oil and Gas Facilities Ivan Utkin participated as a moderator of the entire conference.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Automated Control Systems Anton Tupysev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Automated Control Systems Anastasia Mukhina, Lecturer of the Department of Integrated Security of Critical Facilities Vsevolod Murashkin, Assistant of the Department of Information Technology Security Vladimir Grekov, Postgraduate Student of the Department of Automated Control Systems Nikolay Manzyuk and Student of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering Viktor Negrobov delivered their reports remotely. The reports were devoted, among other things, to the use of artificial intelligence at oil and gas facilities.
During the conference, a discussion of current issues and problems related to the use of artificial intelligence was also organized, as well as a round table to discuss the creation of an international IT technology center based at the Caspian Public University.
