Gubkin University ranked among the top Russian universities by Expert RA

On 15 April 2021, the reputable RAEX (Expert RA) rating agency published its subject rankings. Gubkin University was ranked 14th among the top universities in engineering and technology and 10th in demand by employers in natural and mathematical sciences.

The RAEX rating agency as an organization is the first in Russia and the fourth in the world whose university rankings successfully passed the IREG Observatory International Audit. The goal of the ranking is to assess the capability of universities to provide students with high quality of knowledge, skills and abilities.

The ranking methodology is based on three factors: the quality of education, the demand for graduates among employers, and the level of research work. A complex research used employment statistics available in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Web of Science Core Collection database, and a large-scale survey which covered employers, representatives of academic and scientific communities, students and graduates. Gubkin University continues to retain the leading positions in Russian and international rankings, while its graduates remain competitive and in-demand specialists.
