Gubkin University is ranked among top-15 Russian universities by ARES-2019

Gubkin University secured the 14th place among the top fifteen universities in Russia by ARES-2019 and was assigned the AA category according to the evaluation of the university’s performance over its teaching and research.

The results of the annual international ranking of higher education institutions called the Academic Ranking of World Universities-European Standard 2019 (ARES-2019) were recently published by the European Scientific-Industrial Chamber.

The ARES ranking takes into account such indicators as research, international cooperation, employers' demands for graduates, informatisation, international recognition of the academic staff, cooperation with employers, membership in European Academies of Science, awards by subdivisions of the European Scientific-Industrial Chamber and the European Commission. The ranking cannot be affected by human interference and is processed by computers.

The A category is assigned to universities that demonstrate a high level of teaching, research activities, and employers' demands for their graduates.

The top three in the ranking among Russian universities include Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow State University of Physics and Technology and St. Petersburg State University. 198 Russian universities entered ARES-2019, among which 35 were assigned the category A.
