Gubkin University is ranked among the top oil and gas universities by the World Petroleum Council

Gubkin University entered the top sixteen oil and gas universities in the world recommended by the World Petroleum Council in its annual guide “Careers in Oil & Gas”.

The annual guides have been published since 2009 by the World Petroleum Council and are focused on the fuel and energy complex issues worldwide. “Careers in Oil & Gas” is the 7th in the series of the WPC’s industry guides and has been developed to provide practical advice to anyone considering a career in oil and gas sector.

The other top universities on the WPC’s list are Colorado School of Mines (USA), Heriot-Watt University (UK), IFP School (France), King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (Saudi Arabia), Texas A&M University (USA), University of Stavanger (Norway) etc.
