Gubkin University is among top-30 influential universities in Russia

On 25 November 2022, the reputable RAEX (Expert RA) rating agency for the second time published the ranking of the influence of Russian universities. Gubkin University became 26th in the ranking.

The ranking provides the list of universities that have the greatest influence on society, including on the development of elites, on the scientific community, on youth and the Internet audience.

The ranking relies on 14 criteria, the initial data for which were formed based on the results of a survey of universities and the collection of information from independent sources, such as the monitoring of the employment of graduates by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Internet encyclopedia “Wikipedia”, Alexa web analytics, social networks, RAEX data on the number of graduates in senior positions in the largest Russian companies, and data from foreign and Russian scientometric sources.

The ranking is built on objective indicators and does not use subjective surveys of respondents.

In 2022, 75 Russian universities entered the final list of Expert RA.
