Gubkin University entered the top ten based on student reviews

Gubkin University was ranked among the top ten universities in Russia. The ranking was compiled based on student Internet reviews characterizing their personal assessment of the quality of academic activity, social infrastructure and the reputation of the university.

The annual study “Russian universities through the eyes of students – 2018” was presented by the project titled “Social Navigator” by the international news agency “Russia Today” and the project “Typical Applicant”.

This year 98 state universities of Russia took part in the study. 1377 text pages written by nearly 800 students were analyzed.

Gubkin University moved up two positions in the ranking. The leaders of the rating also include National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, St. Petersburg State University, MGIMO University, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Based on student reviews, the key advantages of Gubkin University are vibrant and diverse student life and favorable environment in the University, professionalism of the faculty, challenging and interesting studies, well-equipped classrooms and good living conditions on campus, convenient location of the University campus, availability of the practical training base, strong positions in rankings as well as eminent alumni. Most students mentioned that their expectations regarding the choice of the university had been satisfied.
