Gubkin University became the leader among the higher educational institutions according to university effectiveness monitoring 2017

Based on the reported results of 2017, Gubkin University became the best university in Russia received the highest scores meeting all criteria.

Gubkin University became the leader among all higher educational institutions in Russia receiving the highest score – “A” according to all criteria. Monitoring of activities of state educational institutions in order to assess their effectiveness has become one of the objectives of the state policy in education and science. According to the order of the Ministry for Education and Science of the Russian Federation of 05.04.2017 No. 308, universities are required to present data on their activity for analysis of its effectiveness.

Based on the methodology, universities are ranked according to seven leagues, four evaluation vectors – A, B, C and D where the first league and evaluation vector “A” are considered the best indicators. The methodology takes into account seven major indicators, including academic activity, research, international activity, financial and economic activity, salaries of faculty members, employment of graduates and one additional indicator.
