Gubkin University among the leaders based on student reviews

Gubkin University is among the leading universities in Russia. The ranking was compiled based on student Internet reviews characterizing their personal assessment of the quality of academic activity, social infrastructure and the reputation of the university.

The annual study “Russian universities through the eyes of students – 2019” was presented by the project titled “Social Navigator” managed by the international news agency “Russia Today” and the project “Typical Applicant”.

This year, the number of participating universities increased to 156, and the final results were based on feedback from 1,346 students from Russian universities. The total number of student assessments exceeded 23,000, and the accuracy of reviews was defined by about 30,000 Internet users.

Based on student reviews, the most sensible issues became faculty members, educational process, student life and atmosphere at the university, campus, location of the university, dean's office and educational unit, international relations, employment, science, sports and availability of free time.

The leaders of the ranking also include MGIMO University, Moscow State Linguistic University, Moscow City University, Kutafin Moscow State Law University, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Novosibirsk state University, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and others.
