The issues of Russian-German scientific and technical cooperation discussed in Hanover, Germany
On November 6-7, 2017 as part of development of bilateral scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and Germany the round table “Current issues of Russian-German scientific and technical cooperation and technology transfer” was held in Hanover, Germany. Gubkin University was represented by the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Commercialization Mikhail Silin.
The event was organized by the Ministry for Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Union of Public Associations “International union of specialists of instrument-making and information and telecommunication technologies”, the Government of the City and the Region of Hannover, the German-Russian Center for Technology Transfer (DRZT).
During the round table session participants presented the promising Russian technologies potentially in demand on the German market, exchanged opinions on the current issues related to commercialization of Russian technologies on the German and European markets, and discussed the issues of legal support and protection of intellectual property within the framework of the Russian-German technical cooperation.
The Vice-President of the German-Russian Center for Technology Transfer Vladislav Metzler gave a presentation on the experience of the Center related to support of Russian companies seeking to enter the German high-tech market.
The Vice-Rector for Innovation and Commercialization at Gubkin University Mikhail Silin shared the experience of small enterprises operating under the University and presented possible areas for cooperation with German organizations and companies.
The round table participants discussed the mechanisms for establishing direct contact with interested German scientific organizations and companies as well as the ways for facilitating the search for potential partners to participate in joint scientific and technical projects.
