Partners of Gubkin University among the competition winners for the best socially-oriented oil and gas companies
On October 6, 2017, as part of the 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (the Russian Energy Week 2017), the awarding of the competition winners for the best socially-oriented oil and gas company and the HR Conference “Human Capital - Investment in Sustainable Economy of Russia” were held. The events were attended by the Chair of the Youth Council of the Oil and Gas Industry under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Ruslan Fatkhutdinov.
In welcome remarks to the competition finalists, the Director of the Department of Civil Service and Training Mobilization at the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Vladimir Smirnov noted that the Ministry considers it important to solve social issues, improve the quality of working and living conditions for employees as well as the implemented social policy by the fuel and energy companies. In addition, the competition helps to identify, study and disseminate the experience of socially-active companies as well as to improve the image of the fuel and energy complex.
By the decision of the competition committee which consisted of the Director of the Department of Civil Service and Training Mobilization at the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Vladimir Smirnov, the Chair of the Council of Oil and Gas Industry Veterans under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Gennady Shmal and the Chair of the Youth Council of the Oil and Gas Industry under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Ruslan Fatkhutdinov, the awards in various categories were received by such companies as LUKOIL, Transneft, Rosneft, Surgutneftegas, Gazprom Neft, Zarubezhneft, Tatneft, RussNeft.
Special distinctions related to social work were awarded to Rosneft and Transneft. Special prizes from the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation were awarded to LUKOIL and Tatneft.
