Official opening of a training laboratory for installation of cable systems was held at Gubkin University
On 24 May 2024, the official opening of a training laboratory for the installation of cable systems, established with the support of the leading Russian manufacturer of structured cable networks, took place at Gubkin University.
Ms. Tatyana Latysheva, Marketing Director, Mr. Maxim Efimenko, Lead Product Designer, and Ms. Oksana Kudyma, HR Director, participated in the opening ceremony on behalf of the manufacturer of the Nikomax structured cabling system.
Gubkin University was represented by Professor Vladimir Koshelev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Mr. Anton Tumanov, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Work, Mr. Vladimir Pavlovsky, Head of Training Laboratory for Installation of Cable Systems, and Mr. Anton Uymin, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Information Technology Security.
The new laboratory will provide students with an opportunity to obtain the profession of an installer of a structured cabling system. The laboratory is equipped with installation and testing systems for copper and optical lines, monitoring systems for data processing centers, and systems for working with active network equipment.
