University staff at the Volga-Kama regional branch of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences meeting

On December 6, 2024, Gubkin University staff took part in a joint meeting of the Volga-Kama regional branch of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Almetyevsk State Technological University "Higher School of Oil" and TatNIPIneft in Almetyevsk.

In her welcoming speech, Tatyana Gromova, Scientific Secretary of the Oil and Gas Section of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, emphasized the importance of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the contribution of the Volga-Kama branch to its activities.

Representing Gubkin University, the following employees delivered reports at the meeting: Professor of the Department of Oil and Gas and Underground Hydromechanics, Doctor of Engineering Sciences Ravilya Safieva with a report on the topic "Engineer - it sounds proud!" and Associate Professor of the Department of Automation of Design of Oil and Gas Industry Facilities, PhD in Engineering. Irina Kulikova with a report on the topic "Biotechnology in the field of oil production".

The reports caused a lively response and discussion. As a result, proposals were received from specialized experts in jointly solving problems to improve technologies.

During the meeting, the chairman of the department, the first deputy director of TatNIPIneft, Doctor of Engineering Sciences Azat Zaripov, was elected.

After the end of the meeting, a tour of the campus of the Almetyevsk State Technological University "Higher School of Oil" was held for all participants. During the tour, they had a chance to get acquainted with the new educational building, the laboratory building, and also visit the dormitories.
