Gubkin University hosted a marathon for the development of flexibility skills
On 27 October 2022, Skills Gubkin 2022 – the first inter-university marathon aimed at the development of flexibility skills – was held at Gubkin University. The event was organized by the Center for Student Competency Assessment and Development and GameLab of the Faculty of Economics and Management at Gubkin University within the "Competence Centers" project of the presidential platform “Russia – Land of Opportunity”.
The proposed startup builder, cases, logic exercises and a number of other activities enabled the participants to improve their competencies, such as stress resistance, teamwork, numerical and verbal analysis, flexibility of thinking, etc.
Mr. Dmitry Guzhelya, Deputy General Director of the nonprofit organization “Russia – Land of Opportunity”, delivered a presentation about the competencies of the future and thanked the Center for Student Competency Assessment and Development at Gubkin University for the initiative to host the inter-university marathon.
“This is the first skill marathon in the history of the "Competence Centers" project of the presidential platform “Russia – Land of Opportunity”. We hope that such an event will become annual, and the number of participants and teams from various universities will be even greater,” said Ms. Antonina Zubareva, Head of the Center for Student Competency Assessment and Development at Gubkin University.
The marathon brought together 80 students from different Moscow universities, including Gubkin University, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Financial University, RUDN University and MGIMO University.
