Gubkin University and MGIMO University hosted the joint summer school “Environmental aspects of sustainable development of the world economy and energy”

On July 3-6, 2018 within the framework of the academic project "Competencies of Generation Z - Career Designer", the Faculty of International Energy Business of Gubkin University together with the Department of International Complex Problems of Natural Recourses Management and Environment of MGIMO University hosted the summer school "Environmental aspects of sustainable development of the world economy and energy ".

Leading professors and faculty members from Gubkin University and MGIMO University delivered master classes and conducted business games and cases on relevant issues related to the world energy transformation, highlighted the challenges of environmental diplomacy and paid special attention to the world economic trends.

Over 45 students from both universities attended the lectures. At the end of the course, the Deputy Head of the Department of Strategic Management of the Fuel and Energy Complex at Gubkin University Natalia Popadko and the Head of the Department of International Complex Problems of Natural Recourses Management and Environment at MGIMO University Ruslan Aliyev handed certificates to participants upon completion of the summer school. The first experience of hosting the joint summer school turned out to be successful and representatives from both universities made a decision on further cooperation.
