Educational trip to Kazan
From December 6 to 7, 2024, students of Gubkin University took an educational trip to Kazan. It was attended by the organizers and winners of "Gubkinets Day 2024. Opening the Future" among the students of the Faculties of Geology and geophysics of oil and gas and the Development of oil and gas fields. The winners of the Pushkin Ball 2023 from the students of the Faculties of Engineering mechanics, Chemical technology and ecology, Integrated safety of the fuel and energy complex, and International energy business also took part in the trip.
The students visited key historical sites of Kazan, such as the Kazan Kremlin, the Kul Sharif Mosque, the Raif Monastery of the Mother of God, the Old Tatar Settlement, and walked along the main tourist streets of the city. Thanks to the trip, the university students were able to touch the traditions of Tatar culture, meet interesting people, learn about the history of the Republic of Tatarstan and its achievements in the fuel and energy complex.
Tatarstan is one of the oil-bearing regions of Russia with a developed oil infrastructure and the process of oil production and refining. The trip ended with a workshop on making echpochmak, where the students prepared traditional Tatar dishes with their own hands.
