Spring job fair was hosted at Gubkin University

On 14 March 2024, a spring job fair was held in the lobby of the Palace of Culture "Gubkinets".

The represented companies offered to Gubkin University students and graduates 494 vacancies for employment and 352 positions for practical training and internships. In total, 718 resumes for the employment and 499 for practical training were collected from Gubkin University students and graduates.

Russian oil and gas companies and organizations were represented at the job fair. The Center for Student Competency Assessment and Development of Gubkin University was also presented at the fair. The representatives of the center conducted a survey among employers and examined the most important competencies for a novice specialist, helped students to upgrade their soft skills and awarded the most active and brightest students with prizes.

The student teams of Gubkin University took an active part in the job fair and presented the stand of the All-Russian Youth Public Organization “Russian Student Teams”. The participants delivered a presentation about the activities of student teams, employment sites and events that await students during the work semester.

As part of the event, the representatives of Gubkin University, Russian Student Teams and PJSC Gazprom met together to discuss cooperation and prospects for the development of student teams of PJSC Gazprom at Gubkin University, personal scholarships, privileges for employment and internships. On the basis of Gubkin University, new oil and gas student teams are planned to be established.

Due to annual job fairs, Gubkin University students and graduates receive excellent opportunities to find summer practical training and pre-diploma practical training, and to learn about available vacancies for the employment.
