Members of the student scientific society are prize-winners of the Interuniversity scientific and practical conference with international participation "Jurisprudence 2.0. A New Look at Law"
On December 7, 2024, the Interuniversity scientific and practical conference with international participation "Jurisprudence 2.0. A New Look at Law" was held at the Law Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
The event brought together students, master's degree students and postgraduates from various universities of the Russian Federation: RUDN University, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University), MGIMO MFA of Russia, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Kutafin University (MSAL), Moscow Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation named after A. Ya. Sukharev, Samara University, RTU MIREA, RANEPA, Surgut State University, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Financial University, Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, RGAIS, GUU, PF RGUP, MPSU, SSLU, MSLU, Crimean branch of RGUP, IZiSP under the Government of the Russian Federation, MFUA. The Peoples' Friendship University of Russia acted as the host of the conference.
The welcoming speech was given by the director of the RUDN Law Institute, associate professor of the Department of Theory of State and Law, PhD in Law Sergey Zinkovsky.
During the conference, students took part in the foresight sessions "Comparative Law: New Challenges in the Context of Globalization" and "National Security and Civil Society in Modern Conditions".
Gubkin University was represented at the event by members of the student scientific society and students of the faculty of integrated security of the fuel and energy complex Olga Guseva (group KM-21-15) with a report on the topic of "On the issue of borrowing the experience of using the US COMPAS system in the Russian Federation", Egor Bezverkhiy (group KM-22-17) with a report on the topic of "The priority of international security. The Cuban missile crisis of 1962", Artem Arzhevitov (group KM-22-18) with a report on the topic of "Migration policy of the Russian Federation in the context of the country's national security".
Following the conference, Olga Guseva took second place in the section "Evolution of Russian law: problems and prospects". Artem Arzhevitov took second place in the section "National security and civil society in modern conditions".
Associate Professor of the Department of Public and International Legal Support of National Security Mikhail Smirnov supervised the scientific preparation of the team.
