Gubkin University team “Barrel” became the finalists of 2018 FISU World University Cheerleading Championship

On October 5-6, 2018 FISU World University Cheerleading Championship was held in Lodz, Poland. Gubkin University team “Barrel” under the leadership of Irina Tsyba and the coaches Natalia Barkova and Konstantin Kudrik became the fourth.

In May 2018, Gubkin University team was the champion among Moscow universities that allowed them to represent Russia at 2018 FISU World University Cheerleading Championship.

The Championship was organized by the International University Sports Federation FISU. The competition was hosted by the sports complex of Technical University in Lodz, Poland.

The Championship was organized in two stages. On the first day, five finalists were determined, who struggled for medals on the second day.
