Gubkin University students became the winners of the intellectual game “Legal Fundamentals of Subsoil Use”

On 15 February 2024, the intellectual game "Legal Fundamentals of Subsoil Use" was held within the international exhibition and forum "Russia". The competition was organized by the Federal Subsoil Resources Management Agency and its subordinate organizations. Gubkin University students took part in the competition.

The event was held for students specialized in law and geology and interested in mining and environmental legislation. Students from Gubkin University, Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Moscow State University and the Russian State University of Justice participated in the competition which was organized in three rounds and included questions of varying complexity regarding terminology in the field of subsoil use, rules and regulations for the use of natural resources.

Gubkin University team “Nedremlyushchie”, represented by Ms. Lucia Kvaratskhelia, Ms. Anastasia Vovchenko, Mr. Nikita Kostenko and Ms. Anna Danilina, became the winner.
