Gubkin University student became the winner of the Sambo Founders Cup

On 22-23 March 2024, the international tournament ‘Sambo Founders Cup’ was held at the International Sambo Center in Moscow.

The event brought together athletes from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, South Korea, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. In total, more than 250 sambo wrestlers participated in the international tournament.

Gubkin University student Denis Fedotov (group KA-22-06) became the winner in the 98 kg weight category.
