Gubkin University student among the winners at the Forum “Russia – Land of Opportunity”

On March 13-15, 2018 on the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin the Forum “Russia – Land of Opportunity” was hold in Moscow. The Master’s degree student of the Department of Modeling of Physical and Technological Field Development Process at Gubkin University Elizaveta Litvintseva became the winner of the Olympiad “I – professional” in the subject area “Petroleum engineering”.

The platform “Russia – Land of Opportunity” brought together 12 independent projects with different focus, but united by a common goal – growing perspective managers and entrepreneurs, professionals in their fields.

The project “I – professional” is a large-scale academic Olympiad of a new format for students of all specialties which is hosted within the platform “Russia – Land of Opportunity”. Competitive exercises of the Olympiad used to test professional knowledge of the participants were made by the experts from the leading Russian universities and the largest industry companies of the country.

The Master’s degree student of the Department of Modeling of Physical and Technological Field Development Process at Gubkin University Elizaveta Litvintseva became the winner of the Olympiad “I – professional” in the subject area “Petroleum engineering”.

On the last day of the forum, the finalists, including Elizaveta Litvintseva were awarded, and got the opportunity to meet with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The President congratulated the forum participants and wished them further success.

Over 6 thousand participants from 85 regions of Russia took part in the forum. At 35 different venues, the participants discussed the support of projects that are part of the open platform “Russia – Land of Opportunity”. The main goal of the platform was to develop a transparent social elevator system, self-realisation of talented youth and professionals in various fields as well as to support charity and consolidate the best social initiatives.
