Gubkin University scientists became laureates of the Russian Government Award 2019
Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation signed a decree awarding the Russian Government Awards in Science and Technology 2019. The faculty members from the Department of Thermodynamics and Thermal Engines of the Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems and the Department of Oil Refining Technology of the Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering became the award laureates.
In accordance with the Decree No. 2846-r of 29 November 2019, the Head of the Department of Thermodynamics and Thermal Engines Alexey Lopatin and the Professor of the Department of Thermodynamics and Thermal Engines Nazar Khallyev received the awards and the titles of laureates of the Russian Government Award 2019 in science and technology for the development and adoption of advanced technologies that ensure the mechanical integrity of pipeline systems.
In accordance with the Decree No. 2846-r of 29 November 2019, the Head of the Department of Oil Refining Technology Vladimir Kapustin received the award and the title of a laureate of the Russian Government Award 2019 in science and technology for the development of new import-substituting technologies for the production of reforming catalysts and their commercial exploitation at Russian oil refineries.
In 2019, 14 teams of scientists and developers became the award winners. 131 applicants, including 11 academicians and 5 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 64 doctors of sciences and 26 candidates of sciences were among them. The prizes were awarded for the work in medicine, energy, geology, production technologies, materials science, engineering, transportation, information technology, environment and agriculture.
