Gubkin University is the winner of XXXV Moscow Student Sports Games

On 15 June 2023, a special ceremony to award universities based on the results of the competitions within XXXV Moscow Student Sports Games was held in GOELRO HERTZ.

Moscow Student Sports Games are considered the largest in Russia. Held from 20 September 2022 to 7 June 2023 in more than 80 sports disciplines, the competitions brought together about 20,000 students. In total, more than 1,800 sets of medals were awarded.

Among the universities of the second group with the number of students from eight to ten thousand, Gubkin University became third only to Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and Moscow Power Engineering Institute.

Gubkin University students competed in 56 competition programs and took the seventh place overall with a score of 6,780.3 points. More than 100 university students became winners in individual competitions.

In team competitions, Gubkin University students became winners in such sports disciplines as fitness aerobics and cheer sport (first place), combat sambo and powerlifting (second place) and darts (third place).
