Gubkin University became the winner of the All-Russian Competition Educational Marathon
On 25 April 2019, following the results of the fourth stage of the All-Russian competition in further professional training “Educational Marathon”, Gubkin University became the winner in two nominations – “Presented Program of Professional Retraining” and “Structure of Further Training”.
About fifty educational programs offered by different academic institutions from all over Russia were among the leaders. The program of professional retraining “Oil and Gas Production” presented by Gubkin University became the winner of the competition.
Since 2016, the All-Russian Competition project in further professional training “Educational Marathon” has been organized by the federal publishing house “Accreditation in Education” in order to promote best practices of further professional training in Russia, create a positive image of programs offered and qualification documents issued within the framework of the information openness policy.
The programs, which are successfully verified for conformity with modern requirements, are included in a guidebook of best practices of further professional training in Russia (2019 edition). In addition, the winners of the project are awarded diplomas and letters of appreciation.
The winners of the competition were awarded at Interfax analytical agency during the round table “Points of Growth in the Context of Continuing Education”, which was aimed to discuss challenges and prospects for developing the national system of further professional training up to 2025.
The badge and diploma of the winner of the All-Russian competition in further professional training “Educational Marathon” was presented to the Vice-Rector for Continuing Professional Education Nikita Golunov by the Expert of the National Council under the President of the Russian Federation on Professional Qualifications, Director of Volga Institute for Development of Professional Qualifications and Competences Vladislav Borodachev.
