Admissions campaign 2024

On 20 June 2024, Gubkin University launches the admissions campaign and invites interested prospective international students to apply for bachelor's, specialist’s, and master's degree programs. The results of the Admissions Campaign 2024 will be available on the University’s website.

Open hours (from 20 June 2024 to 10 August 2024): Monday–Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 15:00.

In 2024, various options of documents submission for admission to bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s programs are available:

  • Admissions officers consult and accept documents from prospective students in person.
  • Prospective students may submit documents through the applicant’s individual account at lk.priem.gubkin.ru
  • Prospective students may submit documents through online service at the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (in Russian), which allows to upload supporting documents electronically.

This year, 1,753 positions in Moscow and 62 positions in Orenburg are available for admission to state-funded full-time study, and 35 in Moscow and 30 in Orenburg – for admission to part-time study at bachelor's and specialist’s levels; 675 positions for full-time and 86 positions for part-time study are available at master's level.

For admission on commercial basis, 723 positions in Moscow and 31 positions in Orenburg are available for full-time study, and 77 positions in Moscow and 148 positions in Orenburg for part-time study at bachelor's and specialist’s levels; 312 positions for full-time and 80 positions for part-time study at master's level.

Prospective students applying on commercial basis, are required to submit a portfolio instead of taking entrance examinations. Once positively evaluated, prospective students will be able to proceed further with entering into an agreement. Based on the portfolio results, enrollment on commercial basis in master's programs begins on 1 July.

Deadlines for full-time and part-time programs at bachelor's and specialist’s levels:

  • 15 July 2024 – for candidates based on the results of entrance examinations conducted by the University
  • 25 July 2024 – for candidates based on the results of the Unified State Exam
  • 19 August 2024 – for candidates under agreements for the provision of paid educational services

Deadlines for full-time and part-time programs at master's level:

  • 31 July 2024 – for candidates applying for state-funded programs
  • 28 August 2024 – for candidates applying under agreements for the provision of paid educational services

Prospective international students who do not speak Russian may apply for a ten-month full-time Preparatory Course, which helps them to study Russian and strengthen mathematics, computer science, physics, and chemistry.

Deadline for the Preparatory Course is 31 August 2024. Training begins on 1 September 2024.
