University students at the XIII International Historical and Archival Forum "Memory of the Past - 2025. Military History of Russia - Understanding and Preserving Historical Memory"

From April 15 to 17, 2025, the XIII International Historical and Archival Forum "Memory of the Past - 2025. Military History of Russia - Understanding and Preserving Historical Memory" was held in Samara. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory and was timed to coincide with the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.

The forum events were attended by 267 representatives from 47 republics and regions of Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Among them were representatives of archives, libraries and museums, universities, academic and industry institutes.

159 reports were heard during the forum. On April 16, 2025, 105 participants spoke remotely, including Gubkin University students from the KM-23-13 group, members of the student scientific society Margarita Astapenko and Mikhail Mukhrin (scientific supervisor - associate professor of the Department of Geopolitics and Sustainable Development of Society Oleg Karimov).

The conference materials with articles by its participants will be published in 2025.
