University Students at the International Model United Nations at MGIMO

Students from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) took part in the International Model United Nations, which was held at MGIMO from April 12 to 17, 2026.

Over 1,000 delegates from around the world participated in the event, making the model one of the largest international student platforms for discussing global issues.

Gubkin University was represented by the following students:
– Al-Tiyabat Falah (Group RNM-24-09);
– Mohamad Salim (Group TS-25-06);
– Khdr Abd Aljawad (Group TP-25-02);
– Solh Adnan (Group RB-24-02);
– Abd Sater Mhammad (Group RB-24-02);
– Hamwi M. Deeb (Group MA-22-03);
– Sheraga Shuaib (Group RG-24-08);
– Al-Wuhaili Yusif Ali (Group RNM-24-01).

Special mention was given to Al-Tiyabat Falah, who was awarded the "Best Delegate" award for the 2026 class.

Participation in such international events helps develop students' diplomatic skills, broaden their horizons, and strengthen their international connections.
