University representatives at the Open Day of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation

On April 11, 2025, the Open Day of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation was held for the first time.

Career guidance of future university graduates is an important task not only for educational institutions, but also for potential employers. This is due, first of all, to the need to attract young specialists with an active life position, with creative ideas and innovative views on solving classic production problems.

Thus, in order to attract young specialists, on April 11, 2025, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation organized the Open Day for the first time. More than two hundred university students took part in the event, including Gubkin University, Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, RUDN University and others.

Gubkin University was represented by over 70 delegates from various academic groups under the leadership of Associate Professor of the Industrial Ecology Department Marina Orlova.

As part of the Open Day, participants received up-to-date information about the structure of the ministry, the principles of its functioning, subordinate organizations, as well as the trajectories of professional and personal growth within the service in the ministry.

The event also presented the career guidance paths and career events of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, in which students and graduates will be able to participate in 2025.
