University Representative at the All-Russian Student Sports Festival "UniverLiga"

From February 27 to March 3, 2026, the All-Russian Student Sports Festival "UniverLiga" was held in Krasnoyarsk, bringing together 3,000 participants from across the country. Gubkin University was represented by Yana Timofeeva, Head of Team Management of the Kerosin Student Sports Club and captain of the national volleyball team.

The festival's organizers and partners were the All-Russian Public Organization "Russian Student Sports Union," the All-Russian Youth Public Organization "Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia," and the Agency for Youth Policy and Social Development Programs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with the support of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Sports, business, and educational programs were prepared for managers and media managers of student sports clubs, as well as university coaches and captains. Competitions in 29 sports among the best athletes from across the country and the Winter Fan Cup were also held. As part of the business program, participants held open dialogues with representatives of student sports leagues: Dmitry Gertsen, Emil Aslanov, Aisha Omarova, and others; Olympic champion Evgenia Medvedeva and Olympic medalist Ilya Averbukh; and sports officials: Vladimir Voloshin, Denis Glushakov, and others. The comprehensive program provided participants with a unique opportunity to adopt best practices, gain valuable advice, and gain motivation for future achievements.

During the festival, Yana Timofeeva personally met with the executive director of the ASSK of Russia and discussed the development of student sports at Gubkin University.
