University representative at the All-Russian scientific and practical forum "Prevention Workshop"

From July 17 to 19, 2025, the All-Russian scientific and practical forum "Prevention Workshop" was held at the Rostov Arena stadium in Rostov-on-Don. David Petrosyan, head of the center for the formation and protection of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values and semantic guidelines, took part in the forum on behalf of Gubkin University.

The forum was operated by the National Center for Information Counteraction to Terrorism and Extremism in the Educational Environment and the Internet (NCCTIC).

More than 250 people took part in the forum, including heads of coordination centers, vice-rectors for educational work and youth policy, and heads of structural divisions of higher education organizations responsible for preventive work.

The forum program consisted of lectures, master classes, quests, and business games. In addition, interactive zones were prepared for the forum participants.

The event program was opened by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Gurba, then the floor was passed to First Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Igor Guskov. Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky also addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech. First Deputy Head of the Office of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee Igor Kulyagin spoke about the organization of work to counter the spread of terrorist ideology among young people.

The event was also attended by Director of the Department of Information Policy and Comprehensive Security of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Dmitry Tafintsev, Director of the Analytical Center under the Coordination Council for Combating Terrorism and Extremism Konstantin Kozlov, Head of the Center for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values of Pyatigorsk State University Ibragim Ibragimov.
