The university's activists took part in patriotic events during the off-site training in Zaluchye
From May 2 to May 11, 2025, more than 100 representatives of the student activists of the faculties of Geology and Geophysics of oil and gas, Automation and Computer Science, and Integrated security of the fuel and energy complex of Gubkin University took part in a series of patriotic events as part of the off-site training in the Zaluchye training and production center.
One of the largest events was the art festival "Victory Scenes" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory, which took place on the stage of the training and production center. Students showed theatrical miniatures telling about the key pages in the history of the Great Patriotic War and reminding about the significance of the Victory in the fate of the country and millions of Russian families. The festival participants also performed wartime songs, poems by Russian poets dedicated to themes of heroism and patriotism, and dance numbers.
Activists from the Faculty of Integrated Security of the Fuel and Energy Complex took part in the All-Russian project "Letter to a Hero". Students wrote sincere messages with words of gratitude and support to veterans and active defenders of the Fatherland. Letters are a symbol of the continuity of generations and living memory of a feat.
Students from the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics of Oil and Gas held a military-patriotic event. Participants, divided into teams, solved tactical problems, navigated the terrain, and learned to make quick decisions in difficult conditions.
Of particular importance was the trip of students and teachers to the Great Patriotic War memorial in the village of Akademichesky (Tver Region), where flowers were laid in memory of the fallen defenders of the Motherland.
Off-site events, during which students organize events in memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and improve memorials in small towns, have become a tradition at Gubkin University and have been held for more than 10 years.
