Sports festival dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the university

On March 25, 2025, a sports festival dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the university was held at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University).

Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov addressed the participants of the celebration with a welcoming speech, noting the students and graduates who, despite the challenges thrown down, have shown high results in sports for 95 years, and also thanked the faculty for the worthy training of athletes.

As part of the event, a ceremonial awarding of the winners and prize-winners of the 78th Spartakiad of the university, the XXXVI Moscow Student Sports Games (MSSG) and the best athletes of Gubkin University took place.

The award ceremony was attended by honorary guests: CEO of JSC MOSGAZ Gasan Gasangadzhiev, Chairman of the Interregional Branch of the Russian Union of Sportsmen Sergey Ponomarev, 2004 Olympic triple jump medalist Danil Burkenya, 2013 Universiade Sambo Champion Alexander Kuchumov and World Adult Championship medalist Elizaveta Dzutseva.

A festive concert was also organized as part of the ceremonial events, where the following performed for the honorary guests: the national fitness aerobics teams "SQ-Dance", "Black Gold", "Scarlet Roses" led by Alexander Shimonin and Ksenia Batalova; the national aesthetic gymnastics team "Nessa" led by Marina Beletskaya; the national combat sambo team led by Sergey Petrov and Makhach Abdulazizov; the cheer-jazz group led by Irina Tsyba; the dance ensemble "Crystal" under the direction of Alena Stadnik; as well as other students studying at the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
