Meeting with International Students

On October 7 and 8, 2025, international students were briefed on the Gubkin University campus regarding the internal student regulations, as well as information on preventing extremism among students.

The event was attended by Alexander Shcherbina, Head of the International Student Department; Oksana Magaril, Deputy Head of the International Student Department; Karina Nikitina, Head of the Migration and Visa Department; Oleg Klimov, Head of the Campus Department; and David Petrosyan, Head of the Center for the Formation and Protection of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values ​​and Semantic Orientations.

Alexander Shcherbina, Head of the International Student Department, opened the meeting and delivered a welcoming speech. He discussed the current internal student regulations and the importance of complying with Russian legislation.

The next speaker was David Petrosyan, Director of the Center for the Formation and Protection of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values ​​and Semantic Guidelines. He discussed the problems and risks associated with the involvement of international students in extremist and terrorist activities.

Oleg Klimov, Head of the Campus Affairs Department, also addressed the international students.

In conclusion, it was emphasized that the safety and psychological well-being of students is a priority for Gubkin University. Following the event, attendees were able to ask any questions they might have.
